Die-Plast Pvt. Ltd. a closely held company registered with the Registrar of Companies,Mumbai, India was established on 26th April 1990 by Mr. Ravi D Ganjawalla to offer mould manufacturing solutions to the injection moulding industry.

Die-tech Engineers as it was then known, had only three conventional machines (lathe, radial drill & surface grinder) at its disposal and the work force was Mr. Ravi D Ganjawalla and an assistant. The company today has carved a niche for itself and grown
into a multi million Indian Rupee company and catering to the versatile potential of the Indian industry.

In the first year of its operations the company manufactured 12 (# twelve only) high precision moulds and acheived an annual turn over of IRS. 12 lakhs (Indian Rupees one million and two hundred thousand only). The company immediately drew the attention of the industry in Mumbai, India and has never looked back since then. It immediately recognised the need for of its own premises and bought over space in an industrial estate in the industrial suburb northern Mumbai. Here the company had its own 5000 square feet working area and had reached a turn over of IRS 5 crores (Indian Rupees fifty million) with a manufacturing capacity of 90 to 100 high precision quality moulds per year with a staff strength of 45 devoted employees.

The company flourished and realised that it needed more space to match its growth levels and bought over an independent plot in the industrial township of Vasai, a 50 kilo metres (30 miles) drive from the International and domestic Airports of Mumbai. Today it enjoys a sprawling 10,000 square feet of working area to offer its clients the high quality precision moulds for their products. The company has now achieved a turn over of IRS 7 crores (Indian Rupees seventy million only) and a mould manufacturing capacity of around 100 to 125 moulds per year.

The company has a group of professionals led by Ms. Aprana assisting Mr. Ravi D Ganjawalla, the Managing Director to give optimum client satisfaction and post sales services.
